Doug;

Poor weather in North Carolina? Here in southern Maine, about an hour
north of Boston, we still have about 20" of snow on the ground! The
roads, of course, are clear, but this looks like anything but
springtime! Just as well. I have a dozen hours of fitting and welding to
go before this tub looks like a TR6 again. It didn't look that way when
I started but the usual rust spots were all represented here. It's a
shame Triumph didn't make a separate piece out of the edges of the floor
pan where it meets the sills on each side. Those outer edges of the
floor pans are chronic rust-catchers and, after plasma cutting the
rusted portion, a piece of sheet steel has to be fabricated and
butt-welded to meet the inner rocker panels. Pour on the POR15!

I only thought the server was down because sometimes I log on and there
are 20 messages. Other times I log on and 2 days go by without a single
message! I very much enjoy all I've learned by reading the experience(s)
of others. It's quite therapeutic for balancing out my work week!
