Hello all,

I am new to the 6pack list and also a happy new owner of a Triumph TR250. I
live in Richmond, VA and am interested in meeting any other 6packers in the
area. The reason I am writing is because I am having some problems starting my
car.

Previous to about a week ago I had been having no problems w/ the car at all. I
was starting the car every other day and taking it for a spin whenever I could.
Well, last week, the car mysteriously would not turnover so I basically gave up
until today. Here are some notes:

1) The battery is ok and the starter is fine. When you turn the key, the car
tries to turn over but there is no ignition.
2) I have verified spark at each spark plug and the coil
3) The car has a little more than half a tank of gas
4) The car appears to be getting gas because when I checked the plugs a few
were still wet (flooded) w/ gas. After this I cleaned the plugs, let them dry
out and still the car wouldn't start.
5) It seems as if the vacuum hoses are all attached.
6) I have not done anything to the car between when it did start and now that
it doesn't start. The only think that I can think of any difference is that the
temperature has dropped about 20 degrees.

I am at a loss right now as to what may be the problem. Any advice?

John
