Somewhat amusingly, my original query was simply regarding how I identify
the correct head for our 1968 Mk1 2000 - I simply want to obtain a spare for
an unleaded conversion. The car runs fine as is and I'm not seeking
performance gains, just an insurance policy against VSR. The thread has run
well off topic, though many interesting points absorbed for future
reference,
Cheers,
Bill.
