List, I have a new flywheel ring gear for a TR6 and forgot to take note of which way the beveled edge faced when I removed the old one. So, which way should the beveled edge of the TR6 ring gear face

I would think that on most any car, the bevels would be on the side from which the starter pinion gear approaches. I don't know what their purpose would be on the other side. Phil Ethier West Side S
