stainless steel sheet metal screw. know as an "AB" point here in the USA. if the post is not pre drilled use a #29 drill (0.136") or try a 1/8" drill. lead post is quite soft so you may be OK with th

Probably best to use an old somewhat dull drill bit if you have one. If not, keep a good hold on the drill motor as the bit will likely try to dig in and twist sideways. -- Randall

Ahhh... That does look more like a wheel of cheese. I went with the oval as the battery cap holes are recessed as to accept an oval or flat headed screw. Thanks to all who responded, this was a great
