Not what you want to hear, but I bought an HF air nibbler for the same exact purpose (except there wasn't a coil inside the plenum). It worked perfectly for that one job, and IMO will have been worth

I have had a Harbor Freight nibbler for many years and have been very happy with it, altough I don't use it a lot. For those that haven't used one yet, one comment, be very careful when you use them
