I have a Lincoln which sounds like the same model/price that you describe. I used it to replace the floors, sills, and dog legs on my MG. I had no problems with it. 3/16 might be pushing the limits

I just used a Lincoln Weld-pac 100 and liked it. Don't know the actual model number. It did fine welding some 3/16 steel into brackets. Check Home Depot. They're just under $300 near me. Brian Kemp 7

Talking of wire welders - I have a new epoxy floor in my shop. Do I have a problem if I get a wire welder? - will the epoxy show burn marks easily [from sparks etc]? If so is there an easy way out? T
