My 66 TR4A came original with the white top (replaced by the PO with a white top). As long as I keep it clean and scrub it with a brush, it looks clean. But, hey, who has the top up anyway. Rick TR4A

GM offers white tops on their convertibles, Mercedes does not (apparently they like their cars to look good much longer than other automakers). It will look dirty. A tan color is the lightest I would

I've owned white tops since 1951, the material over the years has improved somewhat, but, is still basicially, the same, whether it be canvas, vinyal, or ever-flex, I use simple green, window cleaner
