- There is an attachment available to facilitate spot welding on a mig welder. It is simply a different shroud for the tip. I would check with your mig supplier. I have one it was about $5.00 Adrian TR

- Yes, I know that mine has a nozzle for spot welding. I'm not sure that it is what is traditionally known as spot-welding, it's more of a small plug weld. What is it you are trying to accomplish? ///

- I have the same understanding of spot welds. In fact, I used to have a spot welder, it was two tongs that created welds with the resistance between them. The "spot" weld nozzle I have with mine basic
