Does anyone have any killer ideas for sealing the oil pan after welding in the extension to make it deeper. I've got a damned good fabricator but he is getting tired of seeing me after I leaktest and

Every time I've done this (both with oil pans and with somewhat larger devices like 55 gallon drums used for fog machines) I've welded it with a MIG and ground it down with no leaks. The one time I d
