Can someone tell me if it's OK to dump waste oil in the oil tank for my home heating oil? I don't generate alot of waste oil (maybe up to 15 gals a year), so a dedicated waste oil heater isn't worth

Same around SE PA. Walmart, Pep Boys all accept drain oil. My problem is finding a place to take used coolant. No one wants it. Some larger cities have recylcing sites that accept it along with stale

FWIW, both Pep Boys and Kragen will accept used motor oil for free. They aren't unpleasant about it (at least my local ones aren't), but no cute babes. Generally they make you pour into the tank you

Most of the big retailers and chain oil change shops are _happy_ to accept your used oil because they get paid for it. My Safety Kleen rep told me they were paying up to $0.30 per gallon of used oil
