I did it to PIECES and am happy I did. It looks better then original, of course not stock but I was sick of the rust that kept coming out of the beads. If originality is not a concern, shave it! -- F

I did it once, as I drove down the road the beads were coming off in 3" chunks. Now they don't. I like it, I even whacked off the door lock bumps and should have let the body man take off the exterio
