Who knows - you might have invented the next additive! I would not think any harm was done - depending on how long you ran the engine.

I didn't run the engine. I caught on that something was afoul while pouring it and it wasn't as thick as I was expecting. Yeah, maybe it'll clean out any interior paint in the engine?? Robert D.

Nah...."human me"....but, if you do it again, your "banned" from the list!! A small quantity of brake (hydraulic fluid) can be added to engine oil to "swell" leaking seals. Used to do it all the time
