I favor the grease gun idea, with grease. It isn't THAT hard to clean the grease out. You're rebuilding it anyway.

Well that is what I did. I tried a grease gun with brake fluid in it. It'd pump some fluid (in addition to leaking out the barrel) but the other problem is that the leaky old seals in the caliper jus

I must be missing something ... why do you have to dismount the cylinders before forcing the pistons out ? And if there is a reason, couldn't you make up a short adapter to hook them back to the dan

For oiling my trunnions, I took a mini-size grease gun and removed the piston-rod-spring stuff, and epoxied a penny over the hole where the rod came out. Now I can fill it with gear oil and pump it
