hello all, I have a set of slotted mags (aluminum) that came on my 63 spit. I think (maybe?) they will fit a 70 or later spit? I could'nt find the mag wheel lug nuts for those wheels that would fit m

Lew, I found out back in the '60's that quite a few alloy wheels for Spitfires are so thick that they don't allow enough threads to catch the lugnuts. THus they are likely to strip out or worse come

Hanford is about 25 miles south of Fresno. Mag wheel lug nuts should work with mag wheels. The lug nut actually slides into the wheel, so you don't need to get longer studs. My problem is the thread
