- Is there anything that goes under the shifter knob on a '65 Sprite. I just purchased a new knob and after installation it still feels wobbly. I'm thinking there might be some sort of nut or washer co

- There should be a thin 5/16-18 nut under the knob, it locks it in the straight position so the emblem is not crooked. You might have to grind a regular nut down, I have not found these at any hardwar

- They are called jam nuts. I found them at an Ace hardware store that stocks automotive fasteners. They are not as thick as regular nuts. check out this link: http://www.portlandbolt.com/products/nuts
