Don't have to pull the axles. You must jack the frame & rest it on something then jack the trailing arm to relieve the vertical links. BE SURE TO RELEASE the parking brake. After undoing the nuts ho

Yes, it's possible. No, an external compressor won't fit that I know of. I've used a big flat prybar before and wished I hadn't. It's going to be easier in the long run to just pull off the inner ax
