I'm in the layout phase of skinning the wooden tub of my PA. My question comes on the treatment of the lower edges. While it's possible to completely "wrap" the lower edges, aren't I building a perf

I have just done the same job on a J2 tub and having looked at numerous bodies came to no real conclusion as to what was correct. I did not wrap it right round as you say on the grounds that this did

I used the original metal for my PA and it does not wrap back up the inside. I think you are right that wrapping up the inside would form a water trap. I did seal the edges with urethane sealer, 3M

What I #think# were original panels were just formed in about 1/2" under the body rail and similarly into the door opening. I was happy to copy this 'cos it's easy to do - as noted by someone else,
