Maybe I just have a high tolerance for getting gear oil on me, but I've always just used those 30cm long hose things that screw onto a bottle of gear lube. Screw it on, stick it in the hole, squeeze.

The other trick I've used is to punch a hole in the bottom of the bottle with an awl and use an air gun to pressurize the gear oil bottle. Just remember to use the pressure regulator at about 20psi..

I often use a 50 cc syringe and a piece of tubing to fill diffs. You can draw the oil up into the syringe and push it right into the casing. No muss no fuss. ~Paul
