- Today's nitty bitty question concerns headlights. My car is a 53 so should have painted headlights. My originals were beyond economic repair so I bought a good second hand chromed pair from Bob Ford.

- There may be better or more definitive proof somewhere, but I've read somewhere that chrome shells can be on any year. My 53, 25939, has painted shells with NO emblem. I have a 52, 11xxx, out in the

- It's thought that the TDs had three series of headlamps: chrome with badge, painted w/o medallion, chrome w/o badge. Chip Olds describes this better in his article in the T Series Handbook, in which
