I am getting new exhaust from the header back today and wanted to know opinions on a full-blown resonator vs. a dual tip with built-in resonator. Should I avoid the tip? It looks a litle "cooler" tha

I can't see any reason to avoid a res. tip. There really is no backpressure to speack of involved - it's basically an itty bitty little "glass-pack/ cherry bomb" muffler. My 70 1600 has a baby-turbo

I put on a new exhaust with a baby turbo and will be installing the twin tip resonator as the exhaust is too loud and I feel funny driving a car that sounds like a "rice car." Mike

I've got 2" pipe, a turbo muffler next to the gas tank and an Ansa single resonator on mine, and it sounds great (at least to me). Not offensively loud, not hollow or tinny. Gordon Glasgow Renton, WA
