- May well be a resonance from loose or deteriorating internal baffles within the muffler. Had this happen to a Dodge Dakota not too long ago. Try thumping the muffler with a big soft object and see if

- really hard to run along side the car and look underneath when driving :). I've been under the car and everything seems very tight. Does anyone know: a: what the problem is and, b. how to eliminate
