what are people using for race mufflers? Just need one for my new race engine,Lotus TC 1.6 ltr, for ocassional use at Laguna Seca (98db). I'm looking at the Flowmaster. christopher

On my 1275cc Sprite I just used a 16" glass pack from summit racing. It usually runs about 92db at Portland. When I went to Laguna last October I added an interesting insert used by the circle track

You might try Supertrapp. They work on some applications, but not all. If you can get the SPL that you need with enough plates installed, the power loss is minimal. Bill Watkins

We made the one for my car. It is similar to one you can purchase via the following web link: http://www.carchemistry.com/ccinserts.html Instead of disks we used a spiral piece welded on the outside
