In my experience if a battery is completely dead nothing will bring it back to life. I tried to do that recently with a 2 amp charger left on overnight and nothing happened when I tried it the next

I've never done it but a friend of mine worked in the lab for Alabama Power and he said they used to bring back dead car batteries buy flushing them thoroughly with distilled water (on tap in a lab)

Guess I'm lucky, I brought a 8 - 10 year old dead battery back with some rocky mtn spring water from my hose and cleaning the terminals. Then charged it with the cheap charger at 2 amps for 24 hours

I just cleaned out my garage sink plumbing with sulphuric acid. Nothing works better at eating crud in the pipes. But it's dangerous stuff. I sure wouldn't want to mess with putting it in a small bat
