A marmot is a cat sized rodent. Don't know where else they abide but I'm familiar with them from the alpine regions of the Sierras ie. Yosemite, Tahoe etc. They're ground dwelling. Cute litl varmints

Thanks for the good wishes.....i'm sure it will turn out ok eventually. I guess the worst part was i just had really finished the restoration that i was going to do (started back in February, 97)...
