Eric, Don't have my rulebook handy, but I think the rule that is applied at Nationals that says that official times and penalties for each run must be posted before the subsequent runs begin applies

I resemble this remark. I think Eric is using me as an example here. I all four runs at the Solotime Divisionals Saturday. I knew that I was DNF on my first two but was not informed on runs 3 or 4. I

This again depends some what on the event. The larger the event sometimes creates problems with communicating to the entrant. As far as the rule goes: Everything announced and posted is "Un-offical"
