My horn has begun sounding intermittently when I am turning. Just a short beep as I turn the wheel. I'm assuming there is a short somewhere. Where should I start looking? Walt 74 6

I have developed the same problem but only as I turn left and when the wheel is turned about 1/4 rotation. I assumed that I had a short in the column but have not taken the time to check it out yet.

Try the wire link connecting the steering column as it passes over the firewall bodywork. It gets movement as brushes past. I just replaced mine last weekend and it works fine now. - now for those ot
