Do you have spark when it cuts out ? I suppose it could be a fuel problem like a plugged vent (if the system is vented which I doubt) causing a fuel starvation. But on my Echo weed wacker last year,

Last time I had a problem like this it was the gas cap vent. If the vent is plugged the pump on the carb will pull gas until the vacuum in the tank overcomes it and it stops pumping. Eventually enoug

Have you tried running it with the gas cap a bit loose? I had a weed-eater that did that once. The cap was also the vent to the gas tank, and it was plugged. The engine starved for fuel since the gas
