Can anyone tell me what is the best type engine oil to use for a 1974, Triumph TR6. I have been using castrol synthetic but seem to be having some reading problems with my gauges. Is this not th oil

FWIW I believe that the best oil is full synthetic Mobil1. It is far superior to regular oil that was originally available for our cars. The 0W30, 5W30 & 15W50 viscosity choices protect your engine
