The only experience I have is the Kodak 120 and 210. I have borrowed the 120 from a friend many times and been impressed with it, its a 2 year old model I don't know if they made changes since then

I beg to differ on the DC210 I own one and it is a full 1X to 2X zoom. Zoom in/out till you get the picture you want (1X, 1.5X, 1.733X, 2X, whatever). Works as I would want it to. The thing I want is
