- No wizard am I, but I just went through this and ended up drilling some small holes in the seal and putting some screws in to serve as anchor points to tap it out. It was still a pain in the @%$#. Al

- Dick; It's out of the car. The nut, flange, and front mounting plate are off. Right now the axle flanges will turn in one direction, but not the other. Have I messed up the pinion/ring gear adjustmen

- John-The info about the spacers is in the moss catalog in the diff/rear axle section on page 92. Anybody out there who loosened and retorqured the pinion nut on the later type diffs without suffering
