Are the floats and needle/seat working properly? Remove the vent tube from the carb and make sure there is no fuel coming out... Chad '72B Merry Christmas to all.

Although I'm an S.U. man myself, I'm told that some aftermarket fuel pumps do this, even under normal circumstances. If an S.U. does this, it means you're out of gas. -- Todd Mullins Todd.Mullins@nrl
