Les, In my experience you shouldn't need to pull back the tabes - you should only need to twist the bezels until the tabs line up with cutouts in the body of the gauge, then the bezel and glass shou

There is a video tape that Moss sells that is very good. There is also an SU rebuild book from Haynes... it also covers ZS and Weber. And the best of them all is a carb rebuild book from Burlen Fuel
