Sounds fine so far. Now that the RPM has increased, go back to the front carb (nearest radiator) and back off the idle adjust screw (#3) just a touch. do the same w back carb until you are under 1000

Okay heres the the 100 dollar question, this is twice in one week. I start my car and it sounds like it's runnning on two cylinders. I know it's not, the engine just got rebuilt but the carbs did'nt.
