On the race car, unless I have a damn good reason not to, *everything* is converted to aeroquip/earls with the appropriate flare. Brakes, clutch, etc. All brake lines are braided stainless. (Actually

I did the same thing and suffered from a little softness in my brakes. I use hard lines wherever possible and stainless where I need flexibility. And of course, double flares. I had the same problem

I don't think so, and the cost is fairly high for something that is not really as safe or that performs as well as hard lines in long runs. I tried it and didn't like it. I also find it awfully easy

When we built up the Vitesse for the Trans-Am series we thought we were being brilliant running all stainless braided hose even on the long runs to the back. Never could get a decent brake pedal. Fin
