I Have a TR4 and since I'm 6'2 I sit far back from the windshield and get hit with a lot of wind at higher speeds. On these new roadsters like the Miata or the Z3 I see these contraptions behind the

I have the wind deflector on my BMW Z3 and find that it cuts wind from behind somewhat. It's not enough that I always use it since the mesh does seem a little distracting as far as rear visibility.

Didn't Triumph make something like that for the TR4? Stout alloy framing around curved glass, even a nice removable aluminum (later steel) roof panel insert above? I think they called it the hardtop.
