The early tr6 engines did not have the inner valve springs and the latter years do. Does anyone know what the purpose of the inner spring is? And , is it ok to run with out it. If so, i would imagine

Cliff--In defense of the machine shop that said your current springs are OK, they probably are. The shop would be in a better position to know your head thickness and rocker geometry, and whether the
