- "Absolutely essential." I think it depends on your camera and where it's mounted. For Solo, I use an old Ricoh R-18H (essentially a Sony TR-101) with a Bogen suction grip mounted on the rear window

- On this thread, does anyone know of a wide angle thread/clip on lens for a Panasonic VHS-C camcorder? The filter thread is 58mm (big thing) and these seem hard to find. Looked at step down adapters,
