Sounds like you're running 1. lean, very lean or 2. there is a blockage in your fuel system that doesn't flow enough or 3. your float level changed. Try pulling out the choke and see if that helps.

That sounds cam timing related. If it wasn't spiting out of the carbs before and you didn't change anything there.... It's not hard to double-check you cam timing with an SU cam. You need to set the
