Vinyl tiles won't handle some liquids, are slippery when wet, etc. I wouldn't use them in a trailer. What my trailer has is AL diamond plate. I bought the trailer that way, but it wasn't a super exp

I didn't want to add any weight to my trailer (would decrease payload capacity) so I stained my floor with an opaque oil based stain.

Sears sells re-branded Racedeck tiles for about $2.50 a square foot. The only thing you lose going to Sears is variety of colors. ~Paul
