TOO Loud!!! My TR4 has only a glass pack (Cherry bomb?) and it's quite loud. Also sounds a lot like an untuned truck at idle. Above 4,000 however, it sings...at least that's my perception. I've never

Is this to loud as in my sportster with straight pipes, or would this be more like my 66 GTO with walkers?

OK, you win. What I meant to say was, "..it's slightly loud". I don't guess someone who rides a Hog with straight pipes would think my TR is loud. Or a 747 either.

I started out with a 36" cherry bomb on a 2" dia straight pipe from the header on my `4. the sound wasn't too bad until the packing blew out of the muffler (something that happens from time to time).

Same here. I put a Cherry Bomb Glass pack up front, at the bend to go from the down pipe to go down the center of the frame on my TR-250. Then it's straight out. I like a muffler I can see through!!
