One other thing on this. I checked the vacuum at the connection of the Brake Booster and it is reading 20. Is this a normal reading? Greg 0036

Greg. I redid all my brakes on mine this summer. Mine is like that, but needs a new rebuild on the booster, I can hear it hissing. I hope it improves once I have that done.. John -- Original Message

My take on it, Kevin, is that the vacuum is leaking in the diaphragm of the booster. They are designed not to fail, but the assist will not be there, so basically you get manual brakes. John #1413 --
