Hey Phil, The Hoosiers are "technically" DOT leagal but not really recomended for a drive TO the track. A better choice would be the Toyo Proxes RA-1 in 205 50 15 or 225 50 15. I've run the 225 50 15

i might rethink getting dual purpose tires, any good track tire has no place on the highway, and good road tire gets killed on the track with all that tread depth............while some race tires are
