Thinking this is for a TR4... As I recall the drivers side was a stretch. I warmed it a bit (hot water or mild heat gun) then stretched it over something a couple of sizes larger than the fitting on

I stretch one side over the edge and hold it there with my thumb, then use a small screwdriver with a smooth, round shank to work the rest of the boot over the edge. Shouldn't be all that hard ... i
