Hi Max, The manuals says linkage and butterfly pivots should be lubricated at regualr intervals with a drip of oil. I do this three times per year. After this I manually have all link shafts operated

They should return with a solid clunk. Mine do so to the point that I would never open the throttle by hand fully then suddenly let it go as I could imagine the shock doing some damage. If it is not

I've had these carbs rebushed, but that was quite a while ago, so you may have hit on it. Then again, today while driving the throttle was sticking at 3000 rpm (!), which seems pretty far open for it
