- I don't have the factory part number handy, but when you go to the dealer they will charge you $20~$30 for the sender. I bought an after market unit that so far has lasted longer than the factory one

- Go to your local import parts shop and ask for the sending unit for a 70 datsun pickup. It works in all metric heads i've come across. thanks to Stan C. for this tip. Mike Koken roadster repairs in C
