We had the exact problem last month. I finally connected two hoes directly to the carbs and then joined undereath with a T fitting. It works but is not original. Mine craked in the same position. Isn

The DPO put brass compression fittings and a T on my car and I have not had a problem with it, one of the few things that does not leak. Jim

Webers. That said, before going that route, I used simple gas lines on each, then looped them away to a T I bought at a local hardware store. Didn't look stock, but never a problem. Jay
