- How do you know it's the starter that failed ? Is it the motor or the solenoid ? Did you keep the old solenoid in the circuit ? Does it supply power only to the new solenoid, or to the entire starte

- What happened to me was as follows: I had a TR3A with a flywheel complete with a bolt-on ring gear. Perhaps you have a TR4 with a shrink-on ring gear. Take off the inspection plate on the flywheel h
