I have gauges out of my 1959 TR3A. How can I bench test and calibrate the fuel, amp, and oil gauges out of the vehicle? The gauges are rebuilt and the dash is out of the car. Does the coiled wire to

It's not a wire -- it's a capillary tube. I don't think it's meant to be for the gas gauge and ammeter the gagues are mechanical. I don't think they are adjustable like an electrical gauge -- ie: a t

If the gauges have professionally rebuilt, they must have been calibrated. If they haven't, then the best way to calibrate them is to have a pro do it. The fuel gauge, and ammeter are electrical, but
