You probably know this, but just to be sure : Your car may not have originally had shoe hold down pins. Some TR3s (TS15332 to TS56376 according to Moss) had adjustable 'steady posts' instead. Look c

I have what I believe is an original steady post. Overall, it is 1.240" (possibly worn down from 1.250") The center section is threaded 5/16-24 for a distance of 0.805" The end that touches the brak
